On the afternoon of May 26, the "Postdoctoral Growth Station" salon activity sponsored by the Postdoctoral Management Office of UESTC and sponsored by the Postdoctoral Fellowship was held in Qingshuihe Campus. The theme of the event is "Career Development Guidance", and Professor Hu Jun, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of UESTC, and Dr. Liu Bo, founder of Xinglian Xintong, are invited to share the theme.
During the activity, Professor Hu Jun shared his study and research experience during the doctoral and postdoctoral years, and suggested that postdoctors should "walk with masters", open their horizons and patterns through academic visits, academic cooperation and other ways, and constantly improve their academic temperament and academic level.
Hu Jun emphasized that postdocs must have their own academic masterpieces, make contributions in their respective professional fields, and ultimately match the needs of social development to complete the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
As the winner of the Gold Medal of the first National Post-Doctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, Dr. Liu Bo shared his experience from the perspective of post-doctoral entrepreneurship.
Liu Bo believes that the biggest advantage of post-doctoral entrepreneurship is that post-doctoral students have leading scientific research achievements that ordinary entrepreneurs do not have, and the process of entrepreneurship is to convert these achievements into social value, break through key technical barriers, and solve the "neck" problem.
In addition, Dr. Liu Bo also shared his views from the perspectives of venture financing, team building and enterprise management, and had an in-depth exchange with the on-site post-doctoral audience, answering some post-doctoral puzzles about entrepreneurship.
